EXPERIENCE
M/Y BLUE MOON (July ’25 – Present. Sole Stewardess and Cook)
Served as Cook/Sole Stewardess aboard a 27m San Lorenzo private motor yacht, catering to up to 15 guests during busy charter periods. Responsible for preparing healthy, high-quality breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Used detailed preference sheets and created weekly provisioning plans to ensure efficient service and minimise waste. Successfully balanced dual roles, maintaining exceptional standards in both culinary service and interior duties, including cleaning, detailing, and guest service, in a fast-paced, dynamic onboard environment.
S/Y SUNYO, OYSTER 885-15 (Jun ’25 – July ’25. Second Stewardess)
Served in a two-week temporary position aboard a private Oyster 885, delivering high-end hospitality to the owner and guests during a Mediterranean voyage. Responsibilities included full interior detailing such as daily turn-ups and turndowns, table setting with creative napkin designs, and meticulous cleaning. Delivered exceptional food and beverage service, including mixology, wine and cigar preparation and assisting in the galley. Skilled in table decorating, flower arranging, supporting provisioning and inventory management. Competent in laundry, ironing, and light seamstress duties. Additional responsibilities included swim platform setup, dinghy well set-up, and engaging positively with children on board. Demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude throughout the charter.
FAMILY CARE (Nov 22 – Jun 25. Child Care Support Worker)
Family Care is a small social care provider working therapeutically with young people in a residential home. I cared for four teenagers who have a traumatic past of neglect or abuse and can suffer with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. During my 16 hour shift I worked closely with staff members making sure that our young people feel safe, valued and supported. In this position I have built a strong rapport with each child and act as Key-worker, advocating for the young person and making sure the young person’s Care Plan is followed and amended as appropriate. Along with my colleagues and the young people in residence, we carried out daily house chores in order to maintain the upkeep of the living accommodation.
ISLA AND HOO (Jan 15 – Jun 23. Textile Designer)
I established a children’s clothing company that allowed me to use my artistic talents to create designs, which could subsequently be printed onto fabric. I have significantly developed my skills as a seamstress in order to cut and sew the final products. Conversed and communicated with clients to produce wholesale stock and custom orders. I am confident that I could turn my hand to any sewing or alteration that was required by either crew or guests.
RIVERSIDE HOTEL (Sept 15 -Aug 21. Waitress & Bartender)
The Riverside is a renowned and popular countryside restaurant, catering to the local community and the tourism industry. During the 6 years I worked there, the bespoke restaurant would oversee over a hundred bookings for the evening service during peak season, and would host numerous events such as acoustic evenings, wine tasting, set courses and weddings. My commitment revolved around catering to guests needs and ensuring their standards were met with a high level of professionalism. My responsibilities were to greet guests with a warm welcome, addressing specific needs, offering recommendations, bartending and crafting cocktails, liaising with kitchen personnel, and ultimately managing billing and transactions. As well as this, I managed bookings and hosted service. When required I managed junior members of staff as well as learning skills from my seniors. During my time at the Riverside, I reimagined and created a bespoke cocktail menu showcasing locally made spirits and products, which changed regularly. As well as designing based on a specific theme. I look forward to the opportunity to extend my creativity based on the themes and products available across the world.
